How to stop sweat

I know if sweating is a problem to you, you will be looking for ways to stop it, however, it is not a good idea to try to stop sweating entirely. It is after all a natural body function which is responsible for the cooling down process of your body.
No sweating at all could leave you with many more serious problems. Sweating gets rid of impurities and toxins from your body so you can imagine what would happen if this function wasn’t performed.
There are totally natural methods, i.e. the use of antiperspirants, talcum powder and cornstarch [to soak up excess moisture]. Taking herbal supplements, reducing your intake of caffeinated drinks and alcohol also hot and spicy foods. Refraining from smoking will have a good effect also.
Taking plenty of exercise because believe it or not, even though you may sweat whilst you are exercising you will reduce the amount you sweat when in a relaxed mode.
There are plenty of methods available to show you how to stop sweat, one being iontophoresis treatment. This can be administered by a professional or you can buy a device for your own use. This constitutes a small electrical current being passed through water and your affected extremeties, hands or feet, can be immersed in this water. The treatment is quite painless and the effect is pretty much the same as when you use an antiperspirant, though perhaps more effective in blocking the sweat ducts.
Botox also can be used as a solution for this problem, but the results are not only expensive they are not permanent, repeat treatments are needed around every six months. Some people may experience a lot of discomfort when receiving the treatment.
There is a very drastic surgical procedure which involves the sweat glands being actually removed from the seat of the trouble. Whilst this may remove the sweating from that area there is a great risk of compensatory sweating, i.e. you start sweating in a completely different area. A clear case of ‘out of the frying pan and into the fire’.
On the whole, trying natural methods will prove a lot less expensive and you shouldn’t experience any side effects. Plus while you are learning how to stop sweat you may, by changing your lifestyle and your diet, find that you are much fitter than before. When this happens, as a bonus, you should find that your sweating problem has been reduced to an acceptable level.
